The golden hours – which happen around sunrise and sunset – give off a stunning light that can’t be seen during the day. While it’s still too early for this grass to be green, the yellow adds to the golden red quality of the light. There are many scenes like this around the marshy areas of the Midcoast, but rarely do you find one with a lonesome pine tree.
