Sea Grass

This year’s sea grass has just started to grow along the coast of Maine, including at Reid State Park. I discovered a new stretch of sand where the intricate landscape of the coast is always changing with the tide. Also, deer frequent this remote area of the park away from the heavier traffic of the main beaches. This marshy area is abundant with bird life, yet only feet from the larger beaches where you can watch birds dive into the ocean for fish.
