I would like to thank and dedicate this photograph to my Uncle Billy who was with me this past weekend shooting. We were leaving Pumpkin Island and pulled over to photograph a small pond that was covered with ice. He then grabbed my tripod and ran across the road with it, pointing out a path where the pine trees seemed to have been lit on fire. I was able to capture the sun’s light moments before it fully disappeared – I wouldn’t have this photo if he didn’t visit.
