  1. Only people who take time to stop and observe are able to capture what you see,and it’s free .
I am a fly fisherman and i often stop by the stream and take everything in ,noise ,smell, colours, wild life .
    Nature is beautifull.
    Thank you for sharing.

  2. Thanks for the well worded and concise articles. I have shared a couple with my photo club and will use them as a basis for an interactive lesson on composition using focal length, perspective, depth of field and focus point. Wish me luck!

Just read you super clear and concise articles on sunsets and GND filters v post-editing. I’m looking forward to learning a lot more through your articles. First thing to start doing is learn more about those photoshop techniques, do more bracketing and shoot more in raw. Hoping that doing this will gradually take my photography onto a new level. (started in October so am still a newbie).

  4. Hello Christopher,
I would like to buy a travel tripod, but cant decide which ono. There are
so many on the market,Gitzo..Manfrotto..I have a 7D,70-200mm,wide angle
10-22mm and kit lens 15-85mm.I like to travel and take Landscape pic-
tures. Some people say get a tripod with clamps on its legs instead of
twist locks, they last longer, dont wear out as fast.I would like your
    advise,recommendation and experience.
    Kind regards
    Hans

      Hi Hans –

I agree with the clamps. I have a Manfrotto tripod with clamps, and it has last me many years under a lot of elemental wear and tear. I would advise to always wash your tripod down after submerging it in salt water – it will help tremendously :)

      Take care,
      Chris
